Day 50

I was going to post a recipe for improved packaged ramen. But this is Day 50. Day Fifty! I bring you the Second-Best Cookies Ever. If, God forbid, I write a post for Isolation Day 100, I’ll post commit to these pages the recipe for the Best Cookies Ever.

Probably, these are worse for your lipid count than the actual BCE, because the BCE take days to make, where these… Once you realize you’re never more than twenty minutes away from eating these cookies warm, you’re living the rest of your life on hard mode.

(Into preheating? Do ten jumping jacks, then heat the oven to 350 degrees)

Beat butter and sugars until creamy.

Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well.

Add combined flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix until combined.

Stir in chocolate chips and oats.

Drop in walnut-sized balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. (Small-ish walnuts. Smalnuts.)

Bake 10-12 minutes, until the edges start showing a kiss of golden brown.

Cool 1 minute on baking sheet, then transfer to wire rack.
